Modern Slavery Statement

Effective Date: 1 December 2019.

We Transform Digital (collectively, “We Transform Digital”, “We Transform Ltd”, “us”, “our”, or “we”) believe strongly in supporting the principles and goals detailed in the UK’s Modern Slavery Act 2015 and are registered on the Government Modern Slavery Statement Registry.

We pursue the highest standards of corporate responsibility in all we do — supporting and empowering employees, working with clients and suppliers, and governing our company. The company actively enforces its extensive policies and practices addressing how its business units are to operate in an ethical and sustainable manner.

For smaller companies like We Transform Digital the risk for human trafficking is low, but in no way does this negate our responsibility to give this matter the priority it deserves. As part of our induction our staff receive training to spot potential cases in our clients, partners and supply chain.

We remind all staff that, “Modern slavery is a heinous and often hidden crime. It includes slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking. The impact can be devastating for the victims. In 2016, 3,805 potential victims were identified and referred in the UK. In the year to March 2017 the police in England and Wales recorded 2,255 modern slavery crimes. However, many more crimes and victims go undetected.

All staff are directed during their induction to https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/modern-slavery-training-resource-page/modern-slavery-training-resource-page to raise awareness, better spot the signs and increase confidence in reporting modern slavery when potential cases are encountered.

Our staff are provided with the time and resources to undertake this training.
